Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager specializing in Division 8 (Doors & Hardware) and Division 10 (Specialties) to join a well-established commercial construction organization located in Durham, North Carolina. The successful candidate will oversee the management of projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with robust door and hardware knowledge who excels in collaborative environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate take-offs and estimates for proposals.
  • Manage project detailing, purchasing, and execution from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, manufacturers, and vendors to ensure materials are ordered correctly and delivered on schedule.
  • Create, maintain, and organize project documentation and job files.
  • Plan, track, and manage project timelines and milestones using bid-tracking software.
  • Proactively manage scope changes, identify risks, and resolve conflicts.
  • Build and maintain strong client and vendor relationships critical to project success.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Door & Hardware detailing, estimating, and project management.
  • Proven project management experience in construction, building materials, or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of door and hardware products, materials, and industry standards.
  • Experience with ComSense and/or Pro-Tech preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional, personable, and customer-focused.
  • Must be local to the Raleigh-Durham, NC area.

Required Work Hours

Regular hours are Monday through Friday, either 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Additional Details

This is a supervisory position with a salary starting at $80,000, with the potential to earn up to $100,000 based on experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within a reputable organization.
